Today is the Day... Stacey did WHAT??

So today was my last day in the full time position of my role as Education Coordinator for the ER.  I will still be around about once a week in some capacity... but today I move on to a new journey in my career! 

I always dreamed about being able to stay home with my kids... even before I HAD kids I dreamed about it.  When my first marriage of 8 years ended suddenly my dreams of having children devastatingly came crashing down.  My dreams of having a marriage that was centered around serving God and others came to an end as well.

But most of you know how this story turned out!  By the grace of God I have been blessed beyond my wildest dreams with such a wonderful family and such amazingly serious and calm children (lol)! 

And today is the day that my dreams of staying home with the kids and homeschooling them happens.  I have interviewed many generous homeschooling moms and I feel prepared to begin the 2013 school year.  Our school's name is "The Third Story Academy" after the idea that we share as a family to bring Heaven here to earth (Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven).  We want the kids to learn how to live with the love of God in their hearts... such a great challenge!

They had a little lunch for me at work today and everyone was so kind wishing me well.  I feel very blessed with a husband that is on board, two blank canvases in the children, and a desire to do this with everything I've got!  Keep me in your prayers as I make this transition.
