How you doin? Lucky
for you today, I'm terribly pinched for time. This email comes with a
story of a small miracle and homework. Luke 1 has both guns out. 80
verses out the gate. OH SNAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mary's song (Luke 1:46-56)
and Zechariah's prophecy (Luke 1:67-80) stood out the most. I would
hope that you are able to look them up and read them today. I loved how
Mary speaks of her soul glorifying God and her spirit rejoicing in God.
She also acknowledges that God is mindful of her humble state. DIG
IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zechariah speaks of Jesus' gifts to us. The highlights
are rescue, freedom, forgiveness, mercy, compassion, and salvation. COME
ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The small
miracle was what God did for me this morning. Weds. night and Thurs.
morning I encountered the most horrific tongue thrashing and character
assassination I've ever experienced. It was humanly disturbing, but
spiritually unsettling. In both meetings with this women, I could see
that skewed perception, anger, deception, and most of all fear was all
over her. The things she said was triggering unwanted influences on me. I
wanted to pull her bottom lip over her he head, but I really said very
little. The miracle happened this morning during devotions. While
praying, the Holy Ghost filled me with compassion for this women and her
husband. I found myself praying for their deliverance and freedom, and
for the peace, grace, mercy, and love of God to fall on them. I can tell
you that I was not being lead by my flesh here this morning. My fleshes
desire for revenge was put in submission by the Holy Ghost. COME
ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sit here in humble awe of God's grace. His grace
is indeed sufficient. Love someone today.
