Paul Email -1August2013- Ephesians

How you doin? We missed devotions due to sleeping. Stacey forgot to set her alarm. I use these opportunities to read Ephesians or other books in the Bible. I just can't get out of Ephesians lately. Today Ephesians 4.

⁷ But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. ⁸ This is why it^[a] says:

“When he ascended on high,
    he took many captives
    and gave gifts to his people.”^[b]

⁹ (What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions^[c]? ¹⁰ He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) ¹¹ So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, ¹² to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up ¹³ until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:7-13) OH SNAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus is one huge dude. "In order to fill the whole universe", As far as I know, that's really big. So huge Jesus sends all these people to equip us to attain, "the whole measure of the fullness of Christ". DIG IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! That may explain some of my excessive weight gain. Christ in you. I'm thinking that this huge Jesus in me, fat or not, has got to spill out. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sorry T.J.)  Receive Christ's appointed grace today. Receive the whole measure of His fullness today. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
