Paul Email -6August2013- Present Future

How you doin? Speaking with our dinner guest last night, I realized that I've experienced God being present future. I was telling the story of my 1st day in my new life of sobriety. I can recall that day like it was yesterday, not over 9yrs ago. About a year ago, god allowed me to see what He had done that day. Hope > repentance > deliverance. The hope which lead to repentance was God being present future. In an extraordinary state of intoxication, I can recall looking around that AA room and seeing similarities in the people instead of differences... hope. As I looked I had the thought, "this is how I'm going to stay sober",... repentance. God showed me a glimpse of my future in my present... prophecy. I was so drunk, I'm confident that I had zero logical thought on my own. I guess that's why I believed the prophecy. Once the repentance happened, God delivered me from captivity. As I told this story again, I couldn't help but to revisit and see more of the miracle that took place that day. I've always said, "it felt as though, "it", left me like water draining from a bathtub". AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I know people have a hard time believing certain parts of this story. I myself wasn't ready to hear the truth of that day until 8yrs into my sober life. God hides things for us... not from us. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!! Since He continues to reveal Himself to me, I'm learning more and more about who He is. God is not present past, but my past gives me examples of His glory. My past allows me to see how He partnered with me, even when I was oblivious to Him. I drank and did drugs for 20yrs. I did them both in extreme excess. When God stepped in, and took over, it took a minute to be freed. I never experienced one ounce of withdraw, D.T.'s, craving, physical pain, or physical treatment. God started the mental, emotional, and spiritual treatment. Truly a miracle of a large proportion. Last night through testimony, God sparked a fire in me to listen and look for glimpses of my future. To listen for prophecy through His word and His holy Ghost. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. 11 And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!
12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:10-18)
40 At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them. 41 Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah. (Luke 4:40-41)
There's a Jars of Clay song playing in the house saying, "stay up with me, don't fall asleep". DIG IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love being free. I love God. Listen and look for glimpses of your future today. Ask the Holy Ghost to show you. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
