8Jan2014 - Knowledge of Every Good thing

How you doin?  The Paul's are sick.  Poor Paulie woke up terribly sick this morning.  I'm still not great.  It hurts 10 times worse when the kids are sick.  Another great meeting last night.  I've come to appreciate the feeling of being dumb, because I know wisdom is to follow.  At least when it comes to revelation.  We had a different crowd last night, but the same number of people.  I'm sitting here reflecting on last night and I'm getting overwhelming love for God.  I loved how Jonathan taught about God being the covenant partner and punisher in the old covenant, but in the new covenant (grant covenant), He's no longer the punisher.  Jesus came and took the final punishment so to establish the new covenant, which is a grant covenant, the best covenant.  I received so many words of encouragement last night, thank you.  Stacey and I are so amped up, we read an entire book in the Bible this morning.  Actually we are exhausted.  Philemon today (the whole thing).
Verses 4-7, "I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers, because I hear of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the [c]saints; and I praythat the fellowship of your faith may become effective [d]through the knowledge of every good thing which is in you [e]for Christ’s sakeFor I have come to have much joy and comfort in your love, because the [f]hearts of the [g]saints have been refreshed through you, brother."  Paul is such a great prayer worrier.  I love receiving his prayers for myself.  I'm keeping it short today because I'm exhausted.  I also just want to rest in the Lord and continue to receive His comfort.
Verse 25, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit."  As usual, the last verse packs a punch.  I love this language.  May the fellowship of your faith become effective today.
