How you doin? What a great week. It's going to take a while for me to sort through all that has happened over the last few months and the last few days. As we were having lunch with Welton's after church yesterday, I was very thankful to have had the opportunity to build a relationship/friendship with them.
I loved Jonathan's message on Sunday. The cycle of building, battling, and breakthrough. I'm hoping his prophetic word for our church being in the building process landed on the hearts of those in attendance. For me, Jonathan's and Karen's prophetic words over Stacey and I landed on our hearts, spirits, and souls. During lunch yesterday I was sharing that for me the cycle is at different points in different areas of my life. In some areas I'm building. In some areas I'm battling and yet other areas I'm having breakthrough. I also really appreciated the point that building may seem like battling, but it shouldn't. God is teaching me to look toward people in agreement. It made better sense to me after hearing the message yesterday. Trying to build with people who aren't in agreement looks way too much like battling. Our battle isn't to be civil war.
Stacey and I do feel sold out toward our church. We feel like our team is going to come out of our church. That's not to say exclusively from our church. We believe that God will highlight people to us from our church that will be equally hungry to enter into God's process. That our church will indeed be building so we can battle the many things in our area that need breakthrough. Things like addiction, cancer, divorce, religion, gossip/slander, and many more unwanted spirits.
Stacey and I received breakthrough over this weekend. This conference served as our catapult. While this conference was going on, I was exchanging emails with Doug Addison's assistant in planning our next conference. This next conference will be battling. We're going after addiction. We're also looking to equip people to go after addiction. Please start praying now that people that are addicted, people that are in recovery, and people that have a heart for those that are addicted come out to this next conference. Doug Addison is prophetic and extremely anointed and extremely funny. His testimony alone can lead to breakthrough. We're already so excited. This conference will be June 6-7.
