3Feb2014 - Jesus' Staff

How you doin?  We had an amazing worship service at church yesterday.  I heard great testimonies of the work that the Spirit did in different people.  God inhabits the praise of His people and it was evident yesterday.  We're in the final stretch to our Spiritual Conference with Jonathan and Karen Welton.  It starts this Thursday.  Stacey and I are so excited, it's like Christmas morning anticipation.  We just know for sure that the Kingdom will be advanced.
The amount of growth through this process of bringing a conference is unmeasurable.  I received a revelation about arguing in public or in small groups.  Arguing about peoples rebuke or false teaching, allows the false teaching or curse out of their mouths to the ears of innocent by standers.  I've learned that when people are bewitched or deceived by religion, human tradition, or another unwanted spirit, arguing with them does nothing.  Praying for them and loving them is the only solution.  Arguing with them in public just contaminates/corrupts those listening.
God has also revealed to me something about His word being truth and not left up to interpretation.  Interpretation is for fictional literature.  The Bible is truth, because it was written by Truth.  I believe that the mysteries and truth of God are revealed to us.  The word revelation should not be replaced by interpretation.  Bill Johnson said it best, "God hides things for us, not from us".  God is gentle.  He will not damage His children.  Not even with the weight of His Truth.  That's a good word.  The things I don't understand in the Bible aren't because of my misinterpretation.  I don't understand them because God hasn't revealed them to me yet.  He has not given me revelation about that particular subject.  Through prayer and study, He will grant me understanding, once He knows I'm ready for it.  If I read someones autobiography, I wouldn't be interpreting it.  I may not be able to relate to it or understand it, but I wouldn't try to interpret it so that I may force understanding and the ability to relate.  Then I would be making it my story.  I believe that the demonic spirit of religion has taught people to "interpret" the Bible to fit their understanding, which in turn creates twisted doctrine and theology.  The apostle Paul often asks in his letters, "who has bewitched you?".
On a more Biblical note.  I heard a tremendous sermon from Kris Vallotton yesterday.  Kris was talking about why Jesus was able to heal people without being in their presence.  Why Jesus' word was so powerful, even from a distance.  Psalm 103:20-22,
"Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Mighty in strength, who perform His word,
Obeying the voice of His word!
21 Bless the Lord, all you His hosts,
You who serve Him, doing His will.
22 Bless the Lord, all you works of His,
In all places of His dominion;
Bless the Lord, O my soul!"
COME ON!!!!!!!  Jesus has a significant staff.  His crew stretches well beyond my comprehension.  The angels "perform His word".  WOW!!!!!!!  Those same angels still "perform His word" spoken by Him through me.  That's a good word.  When I heard this, I had a snapshot vision of the mighty crew that created the heavens and earth as God spoke it into existence.  HOLY MAC A LOLY!!!!!!!  Now that's something to picture.  I like the last line in this Scripture.  "Bless the Lord, O my soul!"  I like how David is instructing his soul to get it together.  David talks to his soul and instructs his soul often throughout the Psalms.  Something to think about.  Let Jesus' words flow through you so His staff can do their work today.
