31Jan2014 - Power Love Discipline

How you doin?  So Satan's got his guns a blazin.  Yesterday and today my allergies are as bad as they have ever been.  For those of you who didn't know this, allergies aren't a gift of the Spirit or fruit of the Spirit.  Allergies travel north, if you know what I mean.  I do just laugh (Psalm 2:4-6) at Satan's attempts to derail me from doing work in Christ.  Stacey and I always measure the level of breakthrough and revelation, of an up coming event, on the level of attack we receive.  I've never experienced this level of attack for this long of a time.  This conference is going to be something beyond my understanding.  AWESOME!!!!!!!  While praying this morning, I asked God to show me want was going on in the spiritual realm.  I saw demons scrambling around trying to find more things to attack with.  I saw them panicking and desperate.  Satan's army lacks truth and power.  They looked pathetic to me today.  God is SO GOOD!!!!!!!  2 Timothy 1 today.
As if my morning couldn't get any better, this chapter rocks.  Verse 7, "For God has not given us a spirit of [f]timidity, but of power and love and [g]discipline."  I left the footnotes because they're cool.  This verse was right in line with what I saw in my prayers this morning.  It helps me laugh and scoff, with God, at the enemies feeble attempts at being a successful "spirit" dealer.  God is the "King"-pin.  He's the true "Spirit" dealer.

Verses 8-14 are mind blowing.  Verse 10, "but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,".  Give a shout out of praise.  Praise Jesus for turning water into wine.  It's through that Spirit of power & love & discipline that I can stand my ground and persevere.  COME ON!!!!!!!  I'm getting a little fired up.  Verses 13-14, "Retain the standard of sound words which you have heard from me, in the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus14 Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you."  WOW!!!!!!!  The Holy Ghost has His tattoo gun out in-beading this Scripture into me.  SO GOOD!!!!!!!  God allows me to see and persevere just enough to make His stuff more real then real.  That's a good word.
So as I sit here under an open heaven this morning, I can truly say that God is good.  His love, grace, patience, and glory is perfect.  I hope I'm making sense in this email.  It's hard for me after encountering God like I did while praying this morning.  Receive the Spirit of power, love, and discipline today.
