How you
doin? You had to see a double dip coming today. So I'm making breakfast
for us and "Oceans" by Hillsong comes on. As I'm listening to this song I
hear some very recently familiar words. "I call upon your name" is in
the chorus. "Calling on his name" is the last 4 words in Acts 22:16.
One of the verses that stood out to me this morning. "Your grace
abounds in deepest waters" was the other words in the verse. In my email
this morning I had said, "When His
fullness abounds in me". I know this song "Oceans (Where Feet may Fail)"
is way popular and well played. I can see why. We heard it several
times at the Hillsong Conference in NYC that we recently attended. So,
as perfect as God is, He does some undoing of me this morning. I've come
to term it "He did "it" to me". "It" is undoing. I had fear grip me in
an overwhelming way on Sat. Today I could feel Jesus in me breaking it
off as I read with Stacey and listened to this song this morning. So as
usual, when the Holy Ghost shows up, I'm weeping, shaking, and am
overwhelmed by His power. I quickly try to pull myself together to eat
with the kids. While eating I'm looking for a video of "Oceans" and of
course the kids want to watch it. Here we go again. I loose it again and
Audrey says "daddy why are you crying?" I reply "because I love Jesus".
Then both of the kids kept bustin on me. I put a link to 2 versions of
"Oceans" with lyrics. I hope you take the time to listen and read.
(T.J., I'll try to find you a rap version.)
PS
While I'm typing this "Grace Abounds" also by Hillsong is playing. I
think God's trying to get something to me. I added a link to that song
as well.
