How you doin? It's Stacey's birthday today. So I woke up at 4:43am and started trying to make her day go well. While in my prayer closet (the shower) God made it known to me that Stacey is the best example of "made in God's image". She reflects His righteousness. I truly believe that she is incapable of bad or harmful intentions. I'm not claiming her to be perfect, that would be too much pressure for her. She exudes God's love. So on a day where she is to receive gifts, the kids and I are the ones that receive a gift. One that comes everyday. I could only pray and thank God for her to express my love for her. Acts 15 today.
This chapter is as loaded as any other. Due to trying to make Stacey's day better then ordinary days, I'll be brief. Verse 32, "Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the brothers." I just love this simple description of prophecy. Though this chapter is chock-full of great Scripture, this verse stood out to me the most. God is present future and prophecy is to empower, strengthen, and encourage us. COME ON!!!!!!! By hearing, listening, and paying attention to the Holy Ghost, we can hear prophetic words from God for ourselves and others. SAY WORD!!!!!!! Listen closely to God today.
