Another Year Older... and a disturbing discovery.

So on October 13th I turned another year older.  36 years of my life have gone by.  I really have the perfect life: a wonderful husband, 2 beautiful kids, a dream job (homeschooling and stay at home mama).  Life is great!

Ever since I got pregnant with Paulie I have been exhausted.  I just have zero energy.  It is not a fun way to live life.  But I just thought I was getting older, that the kids wear me out with their outrageous energy... stuff like that.

My doctor run routine blood work and discovered that I am very anemic and my vitamin D is low.  I am glad that I know what it is now at least... but could really use your prayers for healing.  I am working on supplements, but if they don't work, the next steps are very invasive.  Please pray that God gives me more hemoglobin!!

So Paul and the kids took me to Red Lobster for dinner on my bday.

Then mom cooked chicken and dumplings for me the day after.  She got the kids costumes for their Harvest Party coming up.  (Since the kids don't eat sugar anymore, as Paulie will gladly tell you, we decided to have a fun dress up party on Halloween and give stuff out to the trick-or-treaters without having to deal with the kids getting loaded down with candy themselves.  Best of both worlds!).  So here they are in their costumes early:
