How you doin? I was listening to Kim Walker-Smith's album, "Still Believe", this morning. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The song, "Yield My Heart", really got me. So I search the Hebrew and Greek words for yield.

Hebrew=  nâthan; to give, put, set

A Greek military term meaning "to arrange [troop divisions] in amilitary fashion under the command of a leader". In non-military use,it was "a voluntary attitude of giving in, cooperating, assumingresponsibility, and carrying a burden".

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. (1 John 1:8-10)

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. (Matthew 24:42-44)

 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? (Romans 6:16)

By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? (Romans 6:2)

 “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—  the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

 (John 14:15-21) COME ON!!!!!!! I say YES & AMEN!

There are so many more verses on yielding to God. I love this spiritual paradox. In the natural, yielding is no good. In the Kingdom yielding is power. Jesus demonstrated all of His power while hanging on the cross. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's the link to Kim Walker-Smith's song.
