How you doin? It's a
laid back day today. Meaning I feel very calm. Yesterday I was asked
if I could "pull off a miracle" so to make the restaurant more
profitable. So I was thinking that I need to start asking the Miracle
Maker for some help. Learning to tap into the resources of heaven is
difficult for me. I tend to rely on my own strength WAY to often. The
miracles I've been apart of aren't from me, they were through me. I was
just as amazed, excited, and in awe of the miracle as the person who
received the miracle. Work is a wonderful training ground for tapping
into the resources of heaven. God is a part of business as much as
anything. This should be interesting to see what happens. God's the
most entertaining cat there is. 1 Peter 3 today.
The first
seven verses are to "Wives and Husbands". I think these verses are some
of the most misused and misunderstood verses there are. Every time I
read them, I coach myself that I am to follow these instruction from
love, not fear. If I read these verses from love they sound wonderful.
If I read them from fear they serve as a tool for manipulation and
serving my self/flesh. We as husbands are called to be to our wives
what Jesus is to the church. That's a tremendous standard.
Verses 18-22, "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. 19 After being made alive,[d] he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— 20 to
those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the
days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people,
eight in all, were saved through water, 21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.[e] It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, 22 who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to Him."
HOLY MAC A LOLY!!!!!!! Thank you Jesus. I so desire a clear
conscience toward God. I want to stand before Him as unblemished as He
created me to be. Not just in heaven, but here on earth. I can't help
but to have piles of love for Jesus. Let Jesus "bring you to God"
today.
PS I can't wait for SOZO tomorrow.
