Paul Email -7Sept2013- Boot Camp

How you doin? So much going on here it's hard to explain. God is AWESOME!!!!!!! My friend Joe received a prophetic word that nearly had him spending some carpet time. It even effected Stacey and me. DIG IT!!!!!!! It's just been wonderful. Last night's talk was on the common confusion and conflict among the Christian community. Johnathan Welton gave us a "brief" Biblical perspective on the transition from the old covenant to the new covenant. We looked at the transition from old wine to new wine and the wine sacks.

For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord. 10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 11 None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

13
In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
(Hebrews 8:7-13)
COME ON!!!!!!! How refreshing to think that Jesus has done this work. The work that I can't do on my own power, but through Christ, I succeed upon acceptance. Full acceptance is now the challenge. Holding on to lies and old covenant teachings seem to be the hurdles.
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32)
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. (John 8:34-36)
I love being free. I'm praying to receive the fullness of Jesus. The fullness of His death, resurrection, and ascension. Which basically makes it possible for me to be free. SAY WORD!!!!!!! I love being free. Be a new wine skin today.
